Abuja will host the African Trade, Tourism and Culture Expo and Summit alongside I Believe Carnival Nigeria 2026 from November 10 to 12 at Jabi Lake Mall.

The three-day event, organised by the I Believe Cultural and Social Development Foundation, is themed “Africa in Motion: Where Trade, Culture and Capital Meet.”

The expo aims to bring together African businesses, investors, tourism professionals, government representatives and creative practitioners to explore partnerships and investment opportunities.

Convener Omoefe Tawiyah said the event would provide a platform for businesses to showcase their products, connect with potential investors and establish commercial relationships.

The programme will feature exhibitions, summit discussions, business networking, cultural performances and opportunities for participating businesses to promote their products and services.

The first day, November 10, will feature a leadership summit focusing on trade, culture, investment and tourism development.

The second day will feature the trade and exhibition expo, where businesses and tourism operators will showcase their offerings and explore partnerships.

Activities on November 12 will include a street carnival and cultural parade featuring music, dance, storytelling, crafts and African cuisine.

According to the organisers, five carnival bands representing Love, Unity, Progress, Hope and Peace will participate alongside community groups, schools and members of the National Youth Service Corps.

The event will also involve young people, emerging creatives and persons with disabilities, while encouraging participation from Africans in the diaspora.

Organisers said the expo would create opportunities for businesses and investors to connect with stakeholders in the tourism and creative industries.

The Nigerian Tourism Development Authority and the National Council for Arts and Culture were among the institutions whose representatives supported the initiative, according to the event report.

The organisers hope the gathering will promote Abuja as a destination for cultural events and provide opportunities for African businesses to develop commercial partnerships.
